Unless the compressor is still under warranty, it may be time to invest in a whole new system. Can you help suggest a good AC. If you are unable to find an exact replacement, you can usually use a universal replacement.

Your humidistat control simply needs to be turned up and you need to check and see if the vent IS OPEN physically on the humidifier. Honeywell heating controls will have your home warm in a flash.
