This costly repair will be charged to the resident. I think you are getting taken advantage of! Is it possible to use a room to room ventilation fan? See What Is a BTU?

In my AC unit no problem in cooling. When to Air Conditioner Repair Altamonte Springs FL (relevant website) and When to Replace Your Old AC Unit. If it sprung a leak, would there be any telltale evidence of that?
